We are thrilled to announce the release of our first tweeter with a glass dome, the T27GL001-DXT (E0102-06).

Glass has fascinated audio engineers for some time, and now it is finally possible to create an ultra-thin tweeter glass dome with an optimal weight to stiffness ratio. This allows for precise control of breakup behaviour while taking full advantage of the fast sound propagation inherent in the glass material. The result is a tweeter with lightning-fast transients, revealing every detail in music with realism. Glass is naturally weatherproof and performs superbly in even the dampest conditions.

The T27GL001-DXT faceplate uses our DXT® technology for optimum directivity control, a favourite amongst HI-FI enthusiasts as well as professional audio engineers. For the T27GL001-DXT, we have upgraded the DXT® concept with an ultra-stable machined aluminium faceplate.
